What you'll actually learn at each level

Each level builds toward a specific Germany pathway — so your time and effort always have a destination.

A1

Beginner — Au Pair Entry

You'll handle introductions, ask and answer simple personal questions, and use everyday phrases. Reach A1 in around 2–3 months. Unlocks: Au Pair visa eligibility and basic survival in Germany.

A2

Elementary — FSJ Entry

You'll understand routine sentences about family, work, shopping and local geography. You can hold short conversations and write simple notes. Unlocks: FSJ / BFD volunteer programs and stronger Au Pair placements.

B1

Intermediate — Ausbildung Gateway

You can navigate work, school and travel in German-speaking regions. You write coherent texts and discuss interests, opinions and plans. Unlocks: most Ausbildung programs, university preparation, and serious career conversations.

B2

Upper Intermediate — Career Ready

You handle abstract topics, complex texts, and professional conversations. You can argue a point and write detailed reports. Unlocks: high-paying Ausbildung tracks, German-taught university programs, skilled-worker visas.

C1

Advanced — Academic & Professional Mastery

You operate in German almost like a native speaker — for academic study, complex professional work, and nuanced social interaction. Unlocks: demanding university programs and senior career roles.
